Children's Footprints
Some children come into our lives and go quickly.
Some children come into our lives and stay awhile.
All our children come into our lives and leave footprints-
Some oh so small,
Some a little larger,
But all have left their footprints on our lives, in our hearts,
And we will never, never be the same.

This poem rings so true. All of my children have affected me in ways that have forever changed me and I will never ever be the same. Cole, most of all I think because he's made me realize that sometimes in life we have to suffer, be sad, feel loss...and from that we will all learn to 'love a little stronger and dig a little deeper'.
